Overview

Our policies are reviewed and updated at least once a year. These are issued to all staff and cover everything from site safety and environmental management to equal opportunities and training. Policies are reviewed and updated once a year or more often if required.

Quality Management

It is the policy and goal of the GKL Group to provide a quality service throughout all of our individual business operations, and to provide a level of service which meets and surpasses the needs and expectations of all of our customers and clients. 

It is testament to this ethos and commitment to delivering and achieving such high levels of quality that has seen us secure numerous repetitive contracts with our key corporate partners.

With a number of key strategic additions within this sector and the implementation of new management systems with regards to quality, health and safety and environmental processes will see us continue to make great advancements within this area eventually striving for ISO 9001:2000 accreditation within the coming years.

Environmental Management

The GKL Group are committed to the continuous improvement of the environment and will pursue the use of processes, practices, materials or products, which avoid, reduce or control pollution whilst increasing the commerciality of our undertakings.
The GKL Group will conduct its operations in line with all appropriate legislation and regulations and shall endeavour to make a continued improvement in;

• Reducing our waste production to increase both our commercial value and our impact upon the environment.
• Reducing emissions to air land and water to minimise the carbon footprint of our operations.
• Planning projects to operate at our premium level of efficiency to maximise commercial returns and reduce our environmental impact.
• Maximising and promoting the use of secondary materials to gain primary status.
• Utilising and promoting the use of sustainable process’s, products and materials throughout our projects and areas of business which increase our cost effectiveness and commercial returns.
• Continue to invest and develop in our materials recycling operations to increase our commerciality whilst reducing our environmental impact.
