Through the development and improvement of our procurement and supply chain management systems we have established numerous strong relationships with our supply chain partners.
 
Our Supply Chain management policy aims to provide a flexible mechanism for meeting and exceeding individual client needs by allowing supply chain partners the freedom to contribute fully to the design and construction process to: -

• Enhance quality

It is our vision to: -

• Develop long term strategic alliances and partnerships within our supply chain
• To achieve the earliest possible involvement of supply chain partners in the design, value engineering and planning process
• To agree Key Performance Indicator monitoring for each work element to enable benchmarking and continuous improvement
• Develop and deliver continuously improving supply chain collaboration, ensuring maximum value is derived for our clients and all project partners.
• To provide joint training programs for strategic, health and safety and environmental initiatives.

The Group has introduced a number of systems designed to enable a comprehensive assessment of all suppliers and sub-contractors to be established prior to engagement.

The procurement department maintains a database of all suppliers and sub-contractors available for use, each of whom are given an approval assessment which determines their suitability for use. Criteria for assessment include: -

• Completion of Quality, Health and Safety and Environment Questionnaires
• Submission of the Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Policies
• Proven track record of performance 
• Competitive price and non-adversarial attitude
• High level of service
• Excellent technical back-up and know how
• Profitable, financially sound and stable company
• Regular volume of business
• Good communications
• References from similar clients
