On the site of the former Wheatsheaf Pub, we are transforming the site into a specialist housing complex.

The final site will house 16 1-bedroom units, with 12 apartments and 4 bungalows.

The accommodation is planned to help residents with a range of disabilities to live well-supported but still independent lives.

GKL started work in September 2025, after the derelict pub was demolished in August.

322 Eastfield Road is an example of GKL's ability to work with the public, as the site is directly on a main road, as well as having a school and bus stop in close proximity. In this project, the safety of everyone both on site and off is a key focus.
