LINCOLN ROAD

On the car park of the former Crown Public House, GKL were appointed as the design and build contractor for the delivery of two new executive five bedroom homes within the picturesque village of Glinton to the north of Peterborough.

Using innovative design and construction methods, the houses were built upon highly insulated raft foundations and incorporated timber frame construction along with air source heat pumps and under floor heating which resulted in super energy efficient homes with very low running costs.

The works also included a new S278 highway junction all on a very tight site which was built with minimal disruption to the adjacent nursery which operated on the same site.
